Information we collect

• Account info from your Google sign-in: name, email address, and profile photo.
• Pet details you enter: species, breed, age, symptom descriptions, and any photos you choose to upload.
• Usage data: your saved checks and basic activity needed to run the service.

How we use it

• To generate your symptom triage and show your check history.
• To operate accounts, subscriptions, and safety features.
• To improve the safety and quality of our guidance.

AI processing

Your symptom text and any photo are sent to Google's Vertex AI (Gemini) to generate the triage. We do not use your data to train models.

Service providers

We share data only as needed with providers that run the service:

• Supabase — authentication & database (stores your account + checks)
• Google Cloud (Vertex AI) — AI processing
• Vercel — hosting
• Dodo Payments — our payment processor and Merchant of Record (handles all card data; we never see or store card numbers)
• Resend — transactional email (if enabled)

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising trackers.

Retention & deletion

You can delete your account anytime from Account settings. Deletion deactivates immediately and permanently erases your profile and all checks after a 30-day grace period. You can reactivate before then.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. To make a request, contact us below.

Children

Pocket Vet is not directed to children under 16 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
